JOSH LOWNDES

PRESENTER – STAFFORDSHIRE SPORT PODCAST

As a child Josh started his sporting journey doing cross-county for City of Stoke Athletics Club.

He also took up football at a young age which eventually led to playing cricket to keep him active over the summer.

Josh started playing cricket at 15-years-old at JG Meakin Cricket Club.

He spent three years there, helping them to win promoted to North Staffs and South Cheshire Cricket Premier League Division 1 and earned the Division 2 Wicket-keeping Award – an accolade he would win twice.

He then moved onto Little Stoke Cricket Club where he won the league title in his first season before joining Porthill Park Cricket Club.

Josh took a break from playing cricket for five years and took up Crossfit where he competed in various competitions around the county.

He continues to still train at Crossfit Napalm throughout the year.

Josh is a Manchester City season ticket holder and has followed them across the continent during their various European journeys over the years.
