Lichfield reacted to last week’s defeat by obliterating their Midlands Division 1 West opponents on Saturday.

The league leaders are clear by 13 points after dismantling Malvern 101-0 in a complete whitewash.

Stoke are behind in second following a convincing 47-7 win against Droitwich on the road.

In the Premier Divison, Burton produced another win by defeating Dudley Kingswinford 29-20.

Uttoxeter claimed their first ever on-field home win at Division 2 West North level at the weekend.

They earned a 19-11 win over strugglers Stourbridge Lions on an historic afternoon at Oldfields.

Division leaders Leek ran out 29-19 winners over Moseley Oak to head the table by seven points.

Stafford are fourth after losing 28-21 to Tamworth while Longton were defeated 54-26 by second-placed Walsall.

Newcastle suffered a heavy 64-0 drubbing at the hands of Crewe & Nantwich.

Eccleshall are rock bottom of Division 3 West North by some 17 points. Their 31-5 loss to Clee Hill means they are all but mathematically relegated.

Barton slip to third in Division 4 West North following a 24-19 home loss to Oswestry.

Rugeley are ten points behind them in fourth after a narrow 25-24 win over Aston Old Edwardians.

Trentham ran in a half-century of points to beat Wednesbury 50-15.

In Division 5 West South, Cannock retain second place with a 20-0 win against Bishops Castle & Onny Valley.

St Leonards edged a 13-12 contest with Redditch while Stone earned a 31-15 triumph over Keresley.
