Stone Old Alleynians edged a five-goal thriller on Tuesday night to progress through to the semi-finals of the Staffordshire Senior Cup.
The visitors claimed a memorable 3-2 victory away at Kidsgrove Athletic, who play a step higher.
Oliver Davies netted four minutes from time to see Stone advance to the last four.
Jack Bowater cancelled out Kyle Blake’s opener for the hosts before putting Stone ahead shortly break half-time.
Kieran Brown pulled Kidsgrove back level seven minutes after the break but Davies would have the last laugh.
Stone face Leek Town – who are also a step higher – away from home for a place in the final.
The other semi-final sees Stafford Rangers take on Stoke City.
Elsewhere, Rocester earned a crucial three points with a 2-0 win over Cheadle Heath Nomads.
Tyler Barnes struck first blood on nine minutes before Cavan Holford doubled the home side’s advantage seven minutes later.
The win means Rocester are eight points from safety with eight games left to play in the North West Counties Football League First Division South.
Just above the bottom three are Eccleshall who fell to a heavy 5-0 defeat to West Didsbury & Chorlton.
It means with six games remaining, they linger above the drop zone by six points.
Finally, a Staffordshire derby between Abbey Hulton United and Stafford Town ended goalless.
The hosts themselves are only nine points away from the relegation spots.
