Eccleshall win first game of season, Stafford run in 85 points
Some significant results this weekend for Staffordshire clubs

Eccleshall Rugby Club have won their first game of the season at the 13th attempt.
The hosts defeated fellow strugglers Aldridge 14-0 to keep their first clean sheet of the season too.
Eccleshall remain bottom of Midlands Division 3 West North on a single point having been deducted five earlier in the season.
Meanwhile, Stafford thrashed Stourbridge Lions 85-3 in Division 2 West North.
Leaders Leek fell to a 18-12 defeat to title challengers Walsall, their lead now cut to three points.
Newcastle defeated Uttoxeter 19-16 in an important encounter which sees the former go ten points ahead of the hosts, who are third-bottom.
Longton are fourth having lost 24-10 to Crewe & Nantwich while Tamworth earned a 36-14 win over Old Saltleians.
Burton fell to a 43-26 loss to Syston in the Premier Division while Lichfield stretched their Division 1 West lead to 12 points after an emphatic 81-0 drubbing of Worcester.
Rivals Stoke responded from last week’s defeat to Kenilworth by earning a 31-10 win away at Whitchurch to stay second.
Barton also stay second in Division 4 West North following a 36-0 win over Essington with Trentham defeating Warley 36-24.
For the second week in a row, Cannock were handed a walkover win. This time it was against Atherstone, as they stay second in Division 5 West South.
Stone were also given the same gift over Five Ways Old Edwardians as St Leonards lost 12-5 to Greyhound.
