Two last gasp goals from star striker Dan Creaney saw Tamworth snatch all three points against Rushall Olympic in the Southern League Central Premier Division on Saturday.

The attacker fired home a bicycle kick in the 90th-minute to make it 1-1 before grabbing a winner two minutes later.

As a result, the Lambs sit sixth in the table.

They are now three points behind rivals Hednesford Town, who drew 2-2 with Hitchin Town.

Andre Landell – who this week committed his future to the Pitmen – netted within a minute after half-time to make it 1-1.

Hitchin took the lead again but Lewis Ison got a 70th-minute leveller to ensure Hednesford remain in the top five.

Meanwhile, Stafford Rangers lost 1-0 to Scarborough Athletic in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Stone stage remarkable comeback

In the Midland Football League, Stone Old Alleynians came from three goals down against Walsall Wood to draw 3-all.

Jack Bowater was in the centre of the resurrection for Stone, igniting the chase on 79 minutes.

He was then fouled in the box a minute later, allowing Dave Ablewhite to fire home from the spot.

Bowater saw an effort smash off the bar three minutes from time, the ball falling for Jack Tomlinson to complete the comeback.

Elsewhere, Hanley Town and Lichfield City shared the spoils in a Premier Division derby.

Kyle Stubbs opened the scoring for Hanley with a lovely free-kick before Jack Edwards netted twice for Lichfield just before half-time to turn the game on its head.

Player-manager Carl Dickinson managed to find an equaliser for his side on 57 minutes.

Hanley stay sixth in the table while Lichfield are now second.

A brace from Jake Avery and a strike from Oli Ritchie saw Uttoxeter Town to a 3-2 win over Highgate United.

In Division 1, Heath Hayes lost 2-1 to AFC Bridgnorth as Stapenhill slipped to second after a 1-1 draw with OJM Black Country, Santi Sesay with their sole goal.

Troubling times for Bolehall

Coton Green are second in Division 2 after a 2-0 win over Redditch Borough while Bolehall Swifts fell to a sixth straight defeat, going down 3-0 to Earlswood Town.

In those six games, Bolehall have failed to score once and conceded 29 goals. They slip to 12th having not won since August 28.

Elsewhere, Stafford Town defeated Sandbach United 4-2 in the North West Counties Football League Division One South.

Ryan Taylor notched two within the first ten minutes before second half goals from Josh Oultram and Morgan Payne.

Josh Bristow’s strike couldn’t prevent Abbey Hulton United from falling to a 3-1 loss to West Didsbury & Chorlton.

Finally, Eccleshall and Rocester – who welcomed in a new full-time manager this week – were defeated 4-0 by FC Isle of Man and Wythenshawe Amatuers, respectively.
