Chasetown FC have announced that manager Scott Dundas has been “relieved of his duties.”

The club announced the news after their 3-1 loss away at Worksop Town on Saturday.

Dundas leaves after two years and nine months at the helm, joining the Staffordshire side in May 2017.

Former manager Charlie Blakemore will now take interim charge of the Norther Premier League South East Outfit

In a statement, the club said:

“After today’s defeat at Worksop Town, Chasetown FC announce that Scott Dundas has been relieved of his duties. 

“Former manager Charlie Blakemore will take interim charge of the team.”

The Stags are currently 18th in the table, five points off bottom club Wisbech Town.

The first team have won just one of their past 11 games.

The club said it is due to release a further statement in due course.
